In April 2016 I had the honor to receive the Royal Foundation for Young Leadership's scholarship by the name Kompassrosen (Swedish: Compass Rose) by the hand of HM King of Sweden. The scholarship is awarded to three young leaders from the public, private and voluntary sector each year who have demonstrated courage, care and willingess to take action beyond the ordinary.

I have represented ten million young women through my involvement in the global scout movement and I participated in the negotiations of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. I have been a driving spirit in refugee support and am described as a role model that inspires, challenges and debates – always with a strong values compass to go from words to action – at home and in the world.
