Perspectives of motivation

My morning ritual includes watching three different news broadcasts whilst sipping coffee and brushing my teeth and remembering to put on socks or where I put my keys. The idea is to give me different perspectives on current affairs and the state of the world. Over the last years, months, and weeks this ritual could have turned me anxious.
You asked me to share what keeps me motivated and with the most recent events in mind, it seems appropriate to share it now: if one individual can create this much hate, imagine how much love and friendship a community can create if we put our heads and hearts to it.
Or as Martin Luther King said: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Those who believe in an open, peaceful, just, rights-based society are in the majority, yet the minority dictates the public discourse.
Let's figure out ways to burst the societal bubbles we've created and build bridges. Let's figure out ways to convey facts in times where factual knowledge is considered elitist and dismissed. Let's support each other to be more loving, compassionate, and perceptive together.
