Negotiations adjourned..

Negotiations for the Agreed Conclusions adjourned until later today (read it's 1am New York time and they will continue at 11.30am).

Seeing as today was #socialnorms day because of the WAGGGS side event it became very clear: we live in the society we created and with norms we perpetuate, which means we have the power to change them, starting with the harmful social norms.

Now, this also goes for governments. We get what we vote for. In a topic by topic negotiation, this becomes awfully obvious. You may think these are just words, but these words shape as well as reflect our actions, our government's actions, towards us and with us. They shape the narrative. And some of those words being taken out of the text, weakened, and forgotten were not that long ago strong and powerful..
